Step 2: GCKey Account
- Go to the IRCC homepage >here< to create a GCKey Account
- If you already have an account from another IEC application, you can use that same account and don’t have to create a new one.
- If you are creating the account for the first time, click the ‘Register’ button.
- If you are applying from outside of Canada, Option 1 is the only option.
- There are quite a few steps to do to create an account, username, password and recovery questions for security.
- After you set up your GCKey you can create the account.
- Write down all security questions and answers (on three different places), because you will forget them and it is a pain in the butt to recover after you forgot them.
- Once you’ve created all the security questions, you’ll access your GCKey account. It still looks empty.
